The effective and reliable solution
for pneumothorax

With pneumothorax a quick response is key to improving patient outcome. Traditional treatment using a large bore cannula or needle is adequate, but using the wrong size or an unsuitable product can lead to unnecessary complications. ThoraQuik™ is designed to overcome these problems, giving you a safe and reliable way to treat pneumothorax.

Simple, Single and Complete

The recommended treatment for suspected tension pneumothorax is immediate needle decompression. Typically, needles used are 3-6cm long. These are not always long enough to reach the pleural space and so it is recommended that the minimum needle length should be at least 7cm. ThoraQuik™ has a large bore 10cm needle ensuring success in reaching the pleural space and minimising the risk of catheter occlusion once it is found. Internal diameter of catheter 3.12mm - 3.22mm.

The ThoraQuik Chest Decompression Device is supplied with:

1 x ThoraQuik Chest Decompression Device

1 x Luer-Lock Syringe (20ml)

1 x Scalpel to Prep Skin Prior to Insertion

ThoraQuik™ is a simple, single and complete solution for the treatment of suspected pneumothorax
