A simple and efficient device to secure the Airway

The Vie Scope is a self-contained, battery powered disposable scope that takes advantage of a closed circular tube with a beveled end to visualise the vocal cords better than all other methods using the naked eye.

An affordable alternative to video laryngoscopes provides a highly illuminated view of the patients airway without a camera. The ring of LED lights is transmitted through the side wall of the tube down the entire length of the tube to give the user maximal illumination of the target tissue with minimal chance of light obstruction by secretions or blood.

1. Insert scope and identify glottis opening between vocal cords
2. Pass the bougie under direct vision between the vocal cords into the trachea
3. Remove the scope leave the bougie in place
4. Pass the ETT over the bougie into the trachea
5. Remove the bougie
6. Ventilate
