Designed for clinicians who require superior quality and exceptional versatility, the Cardiology IV stethoscopes updated design and improved acoustics give you the ability to hear more of what you need to hear. Catching subtle sounds is critical to accurate patient assessment and diagnosis. The new Cardiology IV stethoscope is engineered to help you perceive the barely perceptible the sounds that can tell you more about a patients condition.

The innovative diaphragm technology used in the 3M lets you hear different frequencies by simply adjusting the pressure on the chestpiece. Light pressure will let through low frequency sounds, while more pressure will allow you to hear higher frequencies. The tuneable diaphragm saves time, allowing you to focus on the patient and detect even the faintest sounds, including aortic stenosis, S3 gallop murmurs and faint pulmonary anomalies.

Made from fibreglass and epoxy, the diaphragm features a non-chill rim which increases patient comfort. Both sides of the chestpiece have single-piece diaphragms that are easily removed and reattached, making cleaning a breeze.

The headset can be easily adjusted for a range of head sizes by simply squeezing together or pulling apart the eartubes. The soft-sealing ear-tips create an excellent acoustic seal, and conform to individual ear shape. The tips snap tightly onto the ends of the eartubes and require significant effort to remove, for safety reasons.

The modern design of the Littman Cardiology IV allows you to fold away your stethoscope easily, even into a pocket. The next generation tubing resists skin oils and alcohol, and retains its shape and flexibility, resulting in longer life. Its made without latex and phthalate plasticizers for the benefit of human health and the environment.

3M Littmann Stethoscopes are used by millions of medical professionals around the world to study cardiac, lung, and other body sounds in adult and pediatric patients. This innovative stethoscope is utilised not only by cardiologists, but general practice physicians, critical care nurses, EMTs, medical students, and many other healthcare professionals
