Emergency Maternity Obstetrical Kit

This emergency maternity obstetrical kit contains essential first aid items for emergency births. The contents of the kit are stored in a compact, lightweight sealed polybag. This ensures all the items are always on hand should they be required.

• Absorbent square - Used for soaking up any bleeding that occurs after giving birth, the absorbent square is comfortable, highly absorbent and hygienic.
• Baby fleece blanket - Keep newborn babies warm and comfortable with this soft maternity blanket.
• Disposable towel - This disposable towel has been specifically designed for use after the birth of a baby and provides extra protection against any bleeding that occurs after giving birth.
• Maternity pads - High-quality maternity sanitary pads that are designed for comfort and consist of a thick, high absorbency fluff pulp core in a carrier tissue, with a polyethene liner on the reverse to prevent strike-through.
• Blue nitrile gloves - These soft, elasticated blue nitrile disposable gloves reduce the risk of contamination and provide excellent grip in wet and dry situations.
• Umbilical cord clamps - Umbilical cord clamps designed to seal the umbilical cord, preventing loss of blood.
• Umbilical cord-cutting scissors - These stainless steel scissors feature distinctive wide, curved blades to cut through umbilical cords effectively.
