EcoLite Oxygen Administration Mask

The EcoLite Oxygen masks utilise the latest manufacturing technology which enables them to combine two non-PVC materials in the same mask. The material forming the body of the mask is clear and rigid enough to maintain the mask's shape. A second, softer material is utilised in the manufacture of the seal, which is in contact with the patient's face.

The use of these materials has resulted in a mask with an environmental impact score of 4 milli ecopoints when compared to the equivalent PVC mask which has an environmental impact score of 15 milli ecopoints.

The new Intersurgical EcoLite™ oxygen range incorporate additional features based on the original Eco mask design. The chin section of the mask is now extended and two integral seals ensure that the mask fits a wider range of face shapes. The masks retraining elastic can be fitted either above or below the patient's ear depending on the patient's face shape; in the below ear position it eliminates the discomfort and longer-term trauma created by elastic to the top of the patient's ears.
