Paraguard Excel Rescue Stretcher:

The Paraguard Foul Weather Sheet is not to be confused with the Paraguard Backpack. The backpack is designed to protect the stretcher itself during storage or transport to rescue.

The Foul Weather Sheet is strictly for the Victim. It wraps securely around the victim and stretcher to provide moderate protection from wind, snow, rain and cold.

It is ideal for search and rescue operations in hostile environments as well as Helicopter Rescues.

The Paraguard Excel Stretcher has been developed from the popular Paraguard MKIII to provide a superior rescue stretcher.

Constructed from flame resistant materials, high quality aluminium and stainless steel, the Paraguard Stretcher is impervious to water, grease, oil and other petroleum products and highly resistant to corrosion and rot.

In use since WWII the Paraguard is approved for use by many authorities including NATO 6530-99-446-9403.

Also available for Paraguard are a set of slot in carrying handles so that two medics can carry the victim. These can also be used in conjunction with the Paraguard Shoulder Harness (PT883) which will displace the victims weight onto the rescuers shoulders, hips and legs.
