A unique vacuum technology extrication device which sets new standards in extrication immobilisation and transportation of patients with spinal injuries. The VSI is especially well suited for confined space rescue.

Fast effective and comfortable in use the extrication device adapts to the individual patient's body contours.VSI immobilises the spine without manipulation or causing pressure on the chest or body allowing the patient to breathe without restriction.

Constructed from a hi-vis rugged durable material that is simple to clean, repair and disinfect the VSI is both X-ray, CT and MRI compatible. Excellent floatation and insulation properties make the VSI ideal for water rescue and help protect against hypothermia.

Can be used effectively on patients weighing up to 180 kgs and is suitable for pregnant women. The VSI remains effective and flexible in working temperatures from -40¼ to 100¼C and folds compactly for minimal storage weighing only 2.7kg
