Paraguard Excel Rescue Stretcher:

Manufactured in the UK for use in conjunction with the Paraguard Stretcher (PT880) these high quality aluminium carrying handles are designed to slot into each end of the Paraguard Stretcher's aluminium frame.

Once secure the Paraguard Stretcher and victim can easily be lifted and transported by two medics.

Used in conjunction with the Paraguard Shoulder Harness (PT883), the stretcher carrying handles can also help distribute the weight of the victim for transport over long distances. As well as freeing up the hands of the battlefield medic, fireman or other rescue worker.

Constructed from flame resistant materials, high quality aluminium and stainless steel, the Paraguard stretcher is impervious to water, grease, oil and other petroleum products and highly resistant to corrosion and rot.

The Paraguard stretcher is quick and simple to use with a selection of sturdy straps to secure the victim's chest, arms, thighs and lower legs. The victim's head is held in place by a 3-point, non-slip forehead strap. A figure of eight strap supports the feet. To enhance infection control, the flaps are "wipe clean" and the patient pads may be detached from the base for washing and disinfection.

The Paraguard Excel Rescue Stretcher is particularly useful for high building, mountain, mines, earthquake search and rescue as well as building collapse.

For helicopter rescues a Paraguard 4-Point Lifting Harness is available with sturdy yet lightweight karabiners for vertical lifting.
